The upper evokes the shapes of the past, accentuated by archival colorways. The oversize stabilizer, on the other hand, steers the sole toward a decidedly more contemporary and authentic design. The Mercury Elite makes sure that that comfort and sporty appeal remain unchanged. The textile upper is juxtaposed with leather details, while, lightweight waxing satisfies that nostalgia for 1970s sports shoes in the details and accentuates the natural color of the leather by protecting it and making it more water-resistant.
